Shorouk City
El Shorouk City was established in accordance with the decision of the President of the Council of Ministers No. 326 of 1995
The city limits is as follows: The southern limit where the major project, Madinty is located at and spearted between it and EL Shorouk Cairo -Suez road. The eastern limit where New Heliopolis City is located at and is separated from ELShorouk through Shorouk Gate 3. The northern limit which has a land belonging to the New Urban Communities Authority and has been annexed to the obour city and is separated from the city through Cairo- Ismailia Desert road. Finally, the western limit where it has a land belonging to the armed forces and is separated from ELShorouk through Shorouk Gate (1)

There are currently many of the most famous shopping areas including Carrefour at Gate (1) on and Metro Market (district club)

There are many colleges and universities within the city, such as the British University - University French - Arab Open University - and the Academy of sunrise - and the Higher Institute for Media - University Weavers - Lebanese University. The city is also characterized by the presence of many schools.
